Warm Your Palate 2018 Press Release
The Infant Welfare Society of Evanston (IWSE) held its 7th annual fundraising event, Warm Your Palate, on Thursday, April 19, 2018. This event set records for both attendance and funds raised. Net proceeds amounted to over $100,000.
Warm Your Palate 2018 was an amazing evening of food, wine, friends and fundraising in support of the children and families of Infant Welfare Society of Evanston. Paula Laboy, BTN parent, spoke beautifully about the program and her story. The George R. Kendall Foundation was honored for their years of support and the construction of the “Tom Kendall Gross Motor and Play Space” that we hope to have completed by early 2019.
Our new venue at the Northwestern Segal Visitor Center was a perfect backdrop for the event by the lake. Jazz music and wonderful wine and food set the stage for this beautiful evening. Amazing auction items and raffle prizes helped push the crowd to reach our goal.
