Early Childhood Champion Award

The Early Childhood Champion Award, presented by the IWSE to Illinois Senator Ram Villivalam, celebrates individuals dedicated to education, nurturing, and supporting children and families in their early stages. This honor recognizes those who advocate for young minds with compassion and innovation. The society fosters an inclusive environment where every child can thrive through collaborative programs and unwavering support. With a legacy of service, the society honors those who uplift communities and shape the future of early childhood development. This award pays tribute to their dedication in creating a brighter future for children, guided by compassion and resilience. Sen. Ram Villivalam has been a large supporter and advocate for early childhood development, and we are grateful for his support in uniting community.


About Illinois Sen. Rim Villivalam

State Senator Ram Villivalam was raised on the northwest side of Chicago. He is the son of Indian Immigrants. Prior to being sworn into the Illinois General Assembly, Senator Villivalam spent four years advocating on behalf of home care for seniors and people with disabilities, child care for working families, Medicaid for those in need.
