IWSE provides high-quality early education programs, home visiting, and family resource services for the most vulnerable families in Evanston, Skokie, Morton Grove and Niles.

The Infant Welfare Society of Evanston's annual event, "With Strong Roots, Children Bloom," raised vital funds needed to care for and educate children ages 6 weeks to five years old and to support their families.

VIP ticket holders will enjoy cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and a private reception at 6:30 p.m. with Cristina H. Pacione-Zayas, PhD, deputy chief of staff for Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson. Before her recent appointment to Mayor Johnson’s office, Pacione-Zayas represented the 20th District of Illinois as a state senator. Pacione-Zayas will highlight Governor J.B. Prizker's exciting early childhood education initiatives. Pacione-Zayas was a leader at the Erikson Institute and chair of the Early Childhood Committee in the Senate. She is delighted that the issue of early childhood education is recognized as a statewide priority.
